Chiellini is expected to extend his 15-year career with Juventus
Giorgio Chiellini is back from his injury at Juventus. He is now expecting to extend his contract with the Serie A champion for another 12 months.
The veteran defender of the Juventus squad, Chiellini has already spent 15 years with the Italian giants. After joining the Bianconeri for the first time in 2005.
He was absent in all games except the first one this season. However, he came back last weekend, he was in the bench in a 2-0 victory over Brescia and the fans were welcoming him.
Now back from injury, the 35-year-old is getting ready to strike a new deal with Juventus.
Chiellini’s current contract expires this summer, but the Bianconeri do not want to lose the veteran quarterback.
Now all the paperwork and bids necessary to extend the Italian contract for another year are now preparing. However Goal reports that all that is left to achieve this contract renewal are the formalities.
