Fred is not afraid of Van de Beek: "I want to stay"
Fred is determined to stay at Old Trafford and fight for a place in the first lineup.
Fred has expressed a desire to stay at Manchester United. While welcoming the purchase for 35 million euros of Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek.
He has failed to be in the first lineup even before Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic. But despite that, he is willing to stand up and fight for a place in the lineup.
The 27-year-old told FourFourTwo: “I want to stay, this is my wish.”
“I do not want to leave. “As I have always said. I want to be an important player and win trophies with this club.”
“The arrival of Van de Beek means we are getting stronger and that is good for everyone. When you play in a big club, there is always competition. I am used to it. It has been like this since day one at United.”
