Golden Ball: The list of 30 nominated players is published

The list of nominated players for the Golden Ball for 2019 has begun to be published.

Lionel Messi, Crisitiano Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk are expected to be leaders of the 30 players nominated for the individual award.

The Barcelona captain is in the hunt for the sixth Golden Ball, and the Juventus star is trying to do the same.

Nominations have begun to be announced by France Fotball on Monday night, while the award for the best player in the world for this year will be shared on December 2.

This award was originally given by FIFA, but since 2016 the French media has been independent of the big football house and wants to share the trophy in person at an evening gala.
