Gomez warns rivals: Now we are even better
Joe Gomez has warned Premier League rivals that the link between the Liverpool team has only improved during the forced break and that now the team has only become stronger.
Liverpool returned to training sessions last week. When the British government gave football clubs the green light to resume training sessions in small groups.
Jurgen Klopp’s side need just two more victories to become English champions for the first time in 30 years. As Liverpool had a 25-point lead before the break in March.
Liverpool have been the dominant force in English football this season. Suffering only one defeat in all the matches played so far this season in the Premier League. But Gomez has warned that they have only become stronger during the self-isolation.
“Yes, I think they are even more connected because we were forced to communicate in a different way. We didn’t have the opportunity to do that in the standard form. But we went through this difficult moment together. “Gomez said.
“We have benefited in this aspect as we have been very connected as a team and we have maintained communication all the time. I think that since we have had this time away from each other, we now feel it will be more special when we become together again.
