Guardiola wants Lautaro at Manchester City
Manchester City’s coach Pep Guardiola is contemplating a ‘raid’ on Serie A to find Sergio Aguero’s successor.
City’s team is actively crafting plans to find a replacement for Aguero, who is entering the final years of his career.
According to Italian medium Sportmediaset, Guardiola is a fan of Inter’s striker Lautaro Martinez and thinks he is capable of leading City’s attack.
The Argentine international has been outstanding for Inter this season and his contract carries a 111 million euros purchase clause.
Aguero is now within the last 18 months of his City contract and a departure at the end of the contract seems inevitable.
The Argentine last weekend managed to surpass Thierry Henry in the list of top scorers in Premier League history.
