Hakimi: I would be happy if I go back to Real
Achraf Hakimi hopes to return to the Santiago Bernabeu. But says nothing has been communicated to him by Real Madrid.
Hakimi has spent the last two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund. Where he has developed a lot as a player and is regarded as one of the best right-back defenders in the world.
His desire has always been to return to the team where he was set up as a footballer, Real Madrid.
But the Moroccan says nothing has been communicated to him yet.
Either way, at the end of the season, he will end his loan in the Bundesliga and return to Madrid. Where Zinedine Zidane then will decide on whether to keep him in the squad for the 2020/21 season.
“I haven’t been told anything about the future yet. However, I don’t think much of it. If I get the chance to come back, I’ll be happy, “Achraf said.
“If it doesn’t, then I will continue to grow and improve on another team.”
However, seeing Zizu leave Alvaro Odriozola on loan to Bayern Muncih is a signal that he does not want the team and sees Achraf as the right one to fight for a spot with Dani Carvajal.
