Hazard admits: My first season at Real Madrid was a disaster
Eden Hazard has admitted that his debut season at Real Madrid has been very bad, though successive injuries have played a key role in this.
His latest injury, a knee injury against Levante on February 22, was so severe that he was forced to undergo surgery and missed the remainder of the 2019/20 season, which has now been suspended.
But the Belgian striker is only thinking about the new 2020/21 season.
“My first season at Real Madrid was bad, but not only that. It’s been a season of adjustment for me. I will be judged in season two.”-said Hazard.
“It’s up to me to be physically fit next year. The club is very good, it has been a great experience for me. I still have four years on the contract.”
