Inter are considering Barcelona's offer for Lautaro
Inter have now reportedly admitted that they will lose Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez during the summer transfer window. Nerazzurri are now analyzing Barcelona’s latest offer.
The Catalan daily Sport writes today that Barcelona is even closer to the transfer of Lautaro Martinez. As it is now said that Inter is analyzing the offer of the Catalans for the Argentine.
The offer, according to the same medium, consists of 50 million euros and two Barcelona players. These two players could be Arturo Vidal, Junior Firpo or Samuel Umtiti. Despite the fact that the latter has the support of coach Quique Setien.
If Arturo Vidal became part of the deal to transfer Lautaro to Barcelona. The Chilean and coach Antonio Conte would reunite after being together at Juventus.
The situation of Junior Firpo is more complicated. As Sport writes that the left wing defender still does not want to be part of this agreement. Since he was just transferred to Camp Nou last summer.
The Serie A team will have to respond to Barcelona in the coming days to show them whether they accept the offer or not. As long as they are said to be clear that Lautaro wants the transfer to Barcelona.
He has made his intention clear by refusing the Italian giant’s offers to renew his contract. As he is said to want to play alongside his compatriot Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou.
Inter have already begun searching for a replacement for Martinez. Inter are said to be trying to reach an agreement with Edinson Cavani. Whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires this summer.
