Madrid Real Madrid mourns the legendary goalkeeper

Real Madrid in mourning for the death of 73-year-old Andres Avelino Junquera, former legendary Los Blancos goalkeeper. Junquera defended the gate of Real from 1966 to 1975, winning 8 trophies, 5 titles in La Liga and 3 Copa del Rey.

In his second year with the Los Blancos shirt, which coincides with the 1967-68 season, the Spaniard won the “Zamora” award, an award for the best goalkeeper of the season. Born in 1946 in Asturias, Spain, his career Junquera started off with Langero’s team, where he moved to Madrid, and finally closed with Real Zaragoza team.
