Manchester City beat West Ham after a troubled week
Manchester City have returns to victory by beating West Ham United 2-0 after a tumultuous week outside the field.
In a match postponed for 10 days due to the Ciara hurricane and five days after receiving a two-year suspension from the UEFA competition. The English champion left football to speak with a fantastic and dominating performance against West Ham.
Midfielder Rodri opens the scoring after half an hour of play. Scoring a header after a corner kick by Kevin de Bruyne.
De Bruyne doubles the lead in the 62nd minute, securing three new points for Pep Guardiola’s side.
City reinforce second place with 54 points, after 26 weeks, 14 more than fourth place, Chelsea and 15 more than fifth, Tottenham.
However, the reigning champion remains 22 points behind the elusive Liverpool leader. Which is now in the race to defend the title.
