McTominay returns to Man United training, before the Europa League match
Midfielder Scott McTominay took part in Manchester United training on Wednesday as coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prepares his team for the 1/16 finals of the Europa League against Club Brugge.
Scott McTominay has been out of Manchester United since December 26. As a result of the injury on his knee ligaments in a 4: 1 Premier League win over Newcastle United.
The 23-year-old involves in a training session open to the public at Manchester United’s training camp as the team prepares for the midweek trip to Belgium.
Victor Lindelof was also in training after missing Monday’s 2-0 win over Chelsea because he was ill. Axel Tuanzebe, who has been missing since December, also participated in the training.
Manchester United striker loaned out by Shanghai Chinese club Odion Ighalo also took part in the training. However, the youngster Mason Greenwood was absent.
Solskjaer also included 18-year-old Connor Stanley in training. As the academy winger did not travel with the youth team for the friendly against the Club Brugge youth team.
Manchester United will face Club Brugge in the first leg of the 1/16 Europa League final at Jan Breydel Stadium on Thursday. When Solskjaer will likely play in a much different lineup.
