Milan sells Andre Silva to Eintracht Frankfurt, Rebic is expected to return
Milan have officially sold Andre Silva to Eintracht Frankfurt and are now expected to secure Ante Rebic in exchange.
An announcement that was not expected this evening. Andre Silva and Rebic swapped places on a two-year loan last summer, with no purchase option.
They have negotiated transfers to clubs in separate deals.
“AC Milan announces that it has sold the player Andre Miguel Valente da Silva to Eintracht Frankfurt.”, it is said in the statement of Milan.
“The club wishes him all the best in the future and thanks him for his professionalism.”
The 24-year-old Portuguese had signed for Milan from FC Porto for 38 million euros. But never repaid the money paid for him.
He had a loan deal at Sevilla in the 2018-19 season before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt. With which the team signed a contract until June 2023.
Andre Silva scored 10 goals in 41 games for Milan. But scored 16 in 37 appearances for Eintracht last season.
