Napoli, very close to buying the Slovak midfielder
No longer a surprise, the first boost for Napoli during the January transfer market is expected to be Stanislav Lobotka. The Slovakian midfielder, who did not go down on field for Celta Vigo for the challenge with Osasuna, is the Blue’s main target to strengthen the midfield.
The Italian club’s sporting director, Giuntoli, has immediately resumed negotiations with Spanish club leaders to place Lobotka as soon as possible under coach Gattuso’s orders.
The blue are ready to shell out 20 million euros for the 25-year-old card at the Celta Vigo, for which the Spaniards are demanding at least 22 million euros, much that De Laurentis club can supplement with bonuses. According to Italian media, the deal between the parties is expected to close this week.
