Zidane gives the green light for Hazard transfer
Real Madrid coach has given President Florentino Perez his approval to transfer Eden Hazard and will now begin operations to reach agreement with both Belgium and Chelsea.
The streets of Eden Hazard and Real Madrid continue to come close to each other.
Three of the four parties involved – the player, Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane – are now in full agreement for the transfer over the summer. Only the fourth part, Chelsea, has not yet agreed.
The talks between the two clubs have intensified in the recent times, and the scenario seems to be so now: Chelsea is now aware that he will lose Hazard but will not let him leave for less than 116m euros.
On the other hand, Real Madrid estimates the player 80 to 90 million euros because his contract expires next summer and the Madrid fans believe they will reach an agreement between the estimates of both clubs.
The fight between these two teams for Hazard is similar to what had happened with Thibaut Courtois last year. Chelsea had known several months before the summer transfer was opened that the future of the Belgian goalkeeper was in Madrid, but they did not allow him to leave before they found the substitute who they transferred in August.
In the case of Hazard, they already have a substitute, Christian Pulisic, who reached an agreement with Chelsea in January to join Los Blancos at the end of the season.
Hazard has been under the radar of Real Madrid for several months now. But now that Zidane has returned, the decisive step is expected to be undertaken soon. The French coach has given Perez green light to transfer Hazard.
