Alli wants to move to Paris Saint-Germain
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has asked club president Daniel Levy not to block his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain later this month.
PSG are ready to transfer Alli over the summer and have shown interest in the Englishman after appointing Mauricio Pochettino to the squad. Who had turned him into one of the best young players during his time as Spurs coach.
Jose Mourinho is concerned with his habits and the job. And has frozen him as a result of this work, so the midfielder is not in Mourinho’s squad.
The coach wants to remove Alli on loan but PSG wants to buy him. However, some sources have confirmed for 90min that talks have started between the French team and Spurs and where they want to include in the agreement the possibility of buying him at the end of season.
Levy does not want to leave him forever as he believes the midfielder has the potential to shine as one of the best in the world in his position, so his proposal is for him to leave for six months on loan, with no purchase option.
So, PSG prefers a longer-term deal. Maybe 18 months until they would secure their player in the summer of 2022.
Alli, on the other hand, has made it clear that he wants to join Pochettino and PSG. As he sees this as an ideal opportunity for his career to be on track. He also wants to play in Euro 2020 which takes place this summer and hopes to be in good shape. In order to be invited by the England National Team. To which he was last invited in June 2019.
