Borussia Dortmund rules out the sale of Erling Haaland this summer
Borussia Dortmund have ruled out the sale of Erling Braut Haaland this summer despite Chelsea’s interest in him.
BBC Sport has learned through its sources that the Blues have not yet made an official offer for the striker who turns 21 on July 21. Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel wants to have Erling in his squad. Who has scored 20 goals in 16 Champions League games for Red Bull Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund. Making him one of the most sought-after players in Europe.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is also monitoring the situation. He is looking to sign a striker following the departure of one of City legends, Sergio Aguero. The latter joined Barcelona on a free transfer.
City have also been linked with a move for England captain Harry Kane whose future at Tottenham is in doubt. The club has dismissed speculation that they are looking for Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann or Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.
However, Dortmund are committed to rejecting all offers for Haaland. Especially since they sold Jadon Sancho this summer to Manchester United. While for him they received more than 73 million pounds.
Dortmund is the only “star” player they had planned to sell this summer. Given that Haaland was part of this group of players, the teams from the Bundesliga have given enough notice to all those who want the Norwegian. Whose career is led by the Italian super agent, Mino Raiola.
