OFFICIAL: Buffon returns to Parma, his childhood club
The Italian club, Parma, a few moments ago formalized the return of the goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon. Parma has signed a 2-year contract with the Italian goalkeeper.
The 43-year-old, Buffon left Juventus after two seasons as a replacement for Wojciech Szczesny and returns to the childhood club. Where he started his career 26 years ago.
The goalkeeper left Parma in July 2001 and has been back for 20 years.
The Italian won the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana and the UEFA Cup during his first deal.
The 2006 World Cup winner has managed to win 10 Scudetto with Juventus and a Ligue 1 title during his season with Paris Saint-Germain in 2018-19.
