Ibrahimovic could play the next match despite the red card
Milan’s lawyer Leandro Cantamessa says Zlatan Ibrahimovic could escape a suspension. If referee Fabio Maresca admits he misunderstood what the Milan striker said.
The Rossoneri are waiting for the decision after Ibrahimovic was sent off in the second half of the Parma-Milan challenge on Saturday.
According to some reports, the Swede did not offend the judge and was expelled due to a misunderstanding.
“It all depends on what Maresca writes in his report.” Milan’s lawyer Cantamessa told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“If he had any doubts about what he heard, he should write it down. And the matter could have a sudden and resounding turn.
“If the referee admits that he was wrong, then Ibra can play the next match. Despite being given a red card in the previous match.
“If it does not happen, he could get a ban for one or two games, but that would be wrong.”
“We can not appeal if he gets a one-match ban.” the lawyer continued.
“It simply came to our notice then. There is nothing more to add. “I heard what Zlatan said and I do not know what the judge heard. But I know that Ibra did not insult him.” he concluded.
