Kessie will continue with Milan

The Elliott group is said to have given Milan the green light to meet Franck Kessie’s demands and renew with Ivory Coast midfielder.

Corriere della Sera reports that Milan have offered Kessie 5.5 million euros to sign a new contract at the San Siro. But the former Atalanta midfielder is asking for 6 million euros to renew.

Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu both moved on free transfers after their contracts expired. And Milan are trying to avoid a similar situation for the 24-year-old.

Executives at Via Aldo Rossi are trying to do whatever it takes to convince him to stay. As his contract expires in June 2022.

The report claims that the Elliott Fund is giving the green light to negotiate terms and get as close as possible to the required amount.

Franck will play in the Olympics in the coming weeks. But Rossoneri managers will meet with George Atangana, who represents the player.

The newspaper reveals that the red and blacks intend to close a deal with the player. Who arrived in Milan in July 2017.
