Mourinho: I won 25 and a half trophies

Jose Mourinho claims to have won 25 and a half trophies in his coaching career. The half trophy, he says, he won after sending Tottenham to the Carabao Cup final last season. Before being sacked a few days before the final.

Mourinho, who will be the coach of Roma in Serie A from the new season, has officially won 25 trophies as coach of various clubs such as Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid and Manchester United.

He led Tottenham to the League Cup final in the 2020/21 season. But was sacked six days before the final due to the poor form of the team in the Premier League.

Tottenham lost the 1: 0 final at Wembley against Manchester City under the leadership of interim coach Ryan Mason.

Speaking to The Sun, Mourinho said: “If you want me to be proactive you can ask me now: ‘How many trophies have you won in your career?’ I will tell you I have won 25 and a half. The semi-final is the one I did not play with Tottenham.”

“The Wembley final is more than a dream. I played it first at the new Wembley Stadium. And every time I go there it is more than a dream. And to have the opportunity to win a turf with a club that does not earn much, of course it is a double dream.”, he added.
