Pirlo clarifies the situation of Dybala, warns of his return
Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo confirmed that Paulo Dybala does not need surgery.
Dybala traveled to Barcelona for a consultation with knee surgeon Ramon Cugat, and Pirlo said he would not undergo any surgery.
“For Paulo, we appreciate the best solution to make him available as soon as possible.” Pirlo told a news conference ahead of Saturday’s Serie A match against Hellas Verona.
“He is not in danger of an operation. He had a consultation and now we will see what will be the best treatment. His recovery time has unfortunately been extended. And we have not been able to recover it.” Pirlo said.
Paulo has not played since the 3-1 win over Sassuolo on January 10, and has only started eight times in Serie A this season.
Furthermore, in the last edition, the Argentine footballer was chosen player of the year in Serie A.
