Ronaldo: I am here to win again

Cristiano Ronaldo has said he will be committed to the same success he had at Old Trafford during his first stint with the team from 2003 to 2009.

Ronaldo said in an interview that he could stay at Manchester United for “the next three or four years”. With the transfer of 20 million pounds that he has stated that he is back “to win again”.

United completed one of the most surprising transfers in recent history when they brought CR7 back on the final day. Signing the 36-year-old for one season and another extra after him.

Ronaldo has now stressed that his ambitions after returning to the club where he initially became one of the biggest superstars in the world of football. While he has given indications that he will be in the team until 2025.

In an interview with his former teammate Wes Brown on MUTV before his debut against Newcastle on Saturday, he was asked if he would help the team win trophies after five years.

“That is why I am here.” he said. “I’m not here for holidays. As I told you, before it was good to win important things and I wore this shirt many years ago. But even now I am here to win.”

“I am still capable. Me and my friends as well. I’m ready to go, ready to go. It is an opportunity for the fans, for the club, to take steps forward.”
