Salary reduction for Aguero too, if he stays at Man City
Sergio Aguero could extend his contract with Manchester City, but there is a problem in between.
The Premier League team is still in the market for a long-term replacement for Aguero. But they are open to give him a 12-month extension, reports The Daily Star.
But he will have to accept a significant salary reduction if he stays at the club.
As reported, his salary could be halved if he wants to stay in Manchester. While it is not yet known whether Sergio will accept or refuse the salary reduction.
Since 2011, Aguero has been part of Manchester City making a total of 268 appearances. Scoring 180 goals and 46 assists.
Before coming to the Premier League at Manchester City, the 32-year-old was part of Atletico Madrid. Where he stayed for five years (2006-2011).
