Official: Tomori joins Milan from Chelsea
Milan have announced that they have exercised the right to permanently buy Chelsea defender Tomori.
Tomori has signed a four-year deal with Milan. Which will keep him at the San Siro until the summer of 2025.
The English defender spent last season on loan at the Red and Blacks. And now Milan has used the right in the agreement with Chelsea to buy the 22-year-old.
In a statement on its website, Milan announced: “AC Milan is pleased to announce that it has exercised its right to the permanent transfer of Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea.”
“The English defender, who made 22 appearances and scored a goal last season, will continue to play for the club until June 30, 2025.” the statement said.
Milan agreed to pay Chelsea 28.5 million euros for his services.
The defender convinced the Milan management with his stunning performances in the last season. Taking the place of the captain Captain Alessio Romagnoli.
